A really BIG thankyou to a lad called Steven , working from home for BT and spending well over an hour on this for me . He will be on it again first thing tomorrow morning , he actually tried doing something and was pro active , hats off to him ! More people like him are needed in the world , I cannot praise him enough for his efforts . He realises there was a 2ND BT ID which was the primary account screwing things up , we are a step further !

Hi @Sparky69,

The layout of the site has changed since then.

Follow my advice below:

Log into your MyBT account.

Next, click on "Your details", which will take you into your settings.

On this page, under "Your BT ID details", you will see "Edit username".

Change it to the email address that you want and follow the prompts.

Let me know if you have any problems.

The young lad was working from home well into the night , The accounts are still a mess with no active emails shown for my account and not able to amend stuff either . I cannot enable , set up or access the cloud which is a problem . The BT id I have been using for the past years was not the primary id I initially set up with , since it is lost I am stuck with 2nd Bt ID privileges which are not many . I need to make my ID the primary account .....I am at an impasse .

Hi @Sparky69,

Thanks for posting back.

If you're having problems making the change yourself we can completely remove the BTID and set it up again with the email address you'd like to use?  We are extremely busy at the moment.  We are prioritising vulnerable customers and customers that are having service issues at the moment.  If you're happy enough to wait for us we can change it when we get round to picking up your case.  Is that ok?

That would be great , I think someone may have tried that already but I am not sure , If you could do that that would be VERY helpful . This has taken me a very long time to try and resolve , waiting a bit more will make no difference .
