Anyone else having issues creating sub accounts?
Tried twice now, go through all the steps, get a final confirmation banner that the account has been created.
When I try and access it via email client (Thunderbird) I get a bad username/password error.
Can you access it through webmail?
Does it show up in the the primary account as a sub-account?
yes. BT Complaints helped me set up a new sub account but then couldn't work out why I couldn't send nor receive. So I have a new sub, that doesn't show and can't be used. I also cannot delete one that was suddenly flooded with dodgey emails. First told will be resolved by end of September, now it's soon.
Hope BT read these and action them because I certainly find it very difficult to communicate with them! Come on BT you tell us to be pro-active on security, that is exactly what I and manuy others are trying to do.
One problem at a time. Once you get the account that is "working" set up on your email client you can then move onto the problem of the one that was "flooded with dodgey emails"
If you can access and send/receive emails using webmail, there is obviously nothing wrong with the account and the problem lies with your set up of the account on your email client and/or how that is communicating with the BT servers.
