Deletion of Emails

Hallo,  When trying to manage my inbox, I scroll down looking for an email (eg on order receipt) , open it, maybe print it and then delete it.

What I would then like is for the Inbox screen to return to date of the deletion and not to the most recent email at the top of the screen, as then have to scroll down again to find another "old" email.

Am I missing some setting to control this?

I've have just realised that I can select a date range for emails in SEARCH.

However, when I delete an email from the search the screen returns to the latest email in the INBOX - so I have to search again!

You could try going into the settings found by clicking on your user name at the top right then click on "Mail" then ticking/unticking the box "View next mail after delete/move".

I have the same problem.  I have made sure that box is ticked but it makes no difference.  An annoying time-waster.  Does anyone have a solution?

When I delete an email, it takes me to the top of the inbox, despite the box 'on deletion show the next email' being ticked.  I find that ticking or unticking this box has no effect.  I find this an annoying time-waster.  Does anyone know a solution please?
