Many thanks for your help . Tried to log-in as normal with my tablet & it's fine - very quick. Back to my laptop: now it's OK too!

But will it stay that way? Mine worked for a bit, then I got the cogwheel again ...

Which browser are you using?

Have you tried a different browser even if only to help narrow the problem down?

I'm in the chain above ... I have used both Chrome and Firefox and get the same result (just a spinning wheel).

My wife's computer and mine both use Chrome. But there's no problem with hers!

Same problem - spinning wheel when trying to get into mail. Won't work on Edge, but ok on Firefox. Was ok first thing this morning . . .

Me too!! Won't work at all on Edge - but will on Firefox.

Hi.

There is a possibility that the local computer is blocking something for one reason or other. There are typically various updates to browsers all the time with Chrome and Firefox fairly frequent.

There could be an added interference from perhaps an anti-virus product.

From other posts in this thread, it seems like something is possibly corrupting a cookie or similar, causing this issue. If you use any browser extensions or anti-virus products, it's worth checking that these are not causing undue issues.
