We have a client that has their domain name and emails with BT. We are looking to move the domain so we have control of it. If the domain gets transferred out, as long as the DNS is the same, does email continue to work or does BT stop the email services once the domain is moved?

If the client has their own domain name, it has absolutely nothing to do with BT. Not entirely sure what you are trying to do.
BT are the registrar. We need to move the domain from BT. I can just get BT to change the IPS Tag but I don't want their email being cut off because of it. If it was any other than BT I would not ask the question as it is a simple process.
