Hellooooo..... Is there any prospect of this issue being resolved anytime soon? I'nm getting very tiried (and nervous) of the current wading through treacle process.
Can any of the mods shed any more light on this, please?
I've got this issue too. I tried explaining this on the Online Chat, even sending screenshots, but they kept telling me the same thing over & over again (to set your main account as 'favourite' etc) and they weren't listening to what I was telling them. After 40 minutes on Chat, they then rang me & were really patronising, making it sound like I was stupid.
She asked me to log into my account - I replied "which one? Email account or BT Account?", she replied "yes" - my hubby laughed when I just banged my head on table & sighed loudly!
In the end I was told to just "try again tomorrow".
I've tried Chat again today and straight away been told it's an issue they are aware of and are trying to fix!
This has happened to me also. Started late last week.
Now suspect my emails are not being sent or received.
It you go to My BT and log in and then go to Email, the drop down comes back, but if I go straight to emails its not there.
I am now getting 3 copies of most emails!!! but now able to send to hotmail addresses

Have already posted one solution, here is a different work round.
No idea (and probably BT haven't as well ) when, if ever, it will get sorted.
Click on"My BT"
Log in (email address + password)
Go to "My extras" (bottom of screen)
Go to BT Mail
Click on "Manage BT mail"
This will bring up your list of accounts & sub accounts
your primary account should be first (make it favorite)
now save this as a favorite
now to get your primary acount up (with sub account menu)
select this favorite
next comes BT.com login screen
login and you will be back to your emails list - click on "go to inbox"
and you will be back to your primary email account, with sub account menu.
Hi, I too have lost my drop down list of e-mail addresses. Following your advice is fine and confirms that it has been set up correctly and has worked until now with no problems. The bit about Primary Account with Sub Menu is where it goes wrong I can't select a Favorite it won't allow it. I have even tried changing which e-mail address is Favorite but makes no difference.
