Editing Folder name when it has sub-folders

I can edit the names of sub-folders, and of folders that don't have sub-folders, by double-clicking on the folder name

How can I edit the name of a folder that has sub-folders?  Double-clicking the folder name doesn't put it into edit mode

Re: Editing Folder name when it has sub-folders

I don't think you can't do that when there are sub-folders. If you could the sub-folders would lose the path to the main folder.

Re: Editing Folder name when it has sub-folders

Sub-folders don't lose the path to the parent folder when a parent folder is renamed on my Windows dektop.  Why should it be any different for email sub-folders?

Re: Editing Folder name when it has sub-folders

I was replying without actually having checked to see what happened. I have now checked on BTMail via a web browser to see if you can change the name of a folder with sub-accounts by double clicking on the main folder and as it turns out you can so it would appear that I was wrong and it is indeed not any different from your Windows desktop.

As regards why you can not do it I now have no idea.
