Email Login problem

After considerable time of working well. I am have in the past few days had trouble accessing my Bt emails.

Message states

"site cannot be reached"

"Strongauth.secure.bt.com took to long to respond"

Is there an explanation?

Hi @CEC-46  welcome to the forum and sorry you are experiencing problems logging into your email account. 
Are you accessing email via an app? Are you able to login ok on webmail ?

I have the very same problem.

Tried to resolve by using online chat...………. unable to resolve. Can access via my phone just not with a web browser

Sorry that you're having problems accessing BT Mail.

Have you tried to access using the link above that John has posted?

Can you confirm if you have tried another browser and deleted your cache and cookies?

Hi thanks

yes I’ve tried chrome and edge browsers and cleared the cache and tried another laptop

i just receive a message saying page not working

It sounds like you are having the same issue as report over on this thread. We are looking into a few examples that we have received and will update that thread once we have more information.

@RivieraKid,

It looks like you are affected by the same issue, sorry about this. Please keep an eye on the other thread for an update.

The error message shows slightly different on different web browsers.

What sorted it for me was, from a command prompt, running

ipconfig /flushdns

Then refresh the browser page using Ctrl-F5 to force a reconnection.

Hope it works for you as if reads not everyone was as lucky as I was.

Thank-you John, the problem related to BT Login page on my desktop not the iPad or iPhone which worked ok. Situation has improved since deleting cookies etc.
