Email Login

Desperate for help. I have to keep deleting my BT email account from my iPad & reinstalling it as nearly every day I get an error message saying “mail server is not responding, please ensure you have entered the correct account info”. I can access it from my PC. And for a brief period I can access it from my iPad, until I get the usual message & have to go through the rigmarole of deleting my account. This is my first post on here, but it looks like this may be a common problem? BT need to sort this out pronto or they will be losing customers, me being one of them. 

Any ideas if this can be fixed anybody?
