Email Password no longer recognised

Up until yesterday BT email was working fine then out of the blue the password to my btinternet.com account was no longer recognised?

Stumped now as not got access to my emails in or out?

Went onto BT Chat, fella reset password, all working OK now but not accessible on Ipad anymore, so another challenge to sort...

I believe the password needs to be changed for incoming (IMAP/POP) and outgoing  (SMTP) separately  on the iPad

Had to delete account on IPad and reinstall, all worked fine
