Email accounts - suspicious activity detected

I suspect this is due to using a VPN and I've had to reset passwords for my email accounts this evening - the second time in a week.

What can I do to try and prevent this happening again? I use Express VPN and want to have the freedom to continue using without fear that my BT email accounts will need to constantly be reset.

If you can select which country the VPN server is using try selecting a server in the UK.

Hi there,

I am just replying to say that I have the same problem. My account is reset due to "suspicious activity" several times per month and it has been going on for years. I have no idea why, but like you I assume it is due to different networks implying that I could be all over the place + not living in the UK. 

Frustrating given that I am paying for the privilege of having this email account (or rather for the privilege of not having to change the legacy email address that I have had for decades).

On the plus side, I assume the constant password changes are my account secure ?!
