Email address continiously locked out

Howdy - I've been trying to help my partner regain access to her old btopenworld email address from when she was younger. A long time ago it got comprimised and she stopped using it. We regained access a couple of years ago and all was well.

 

Recently in the past year or so, when we've attempted to login via the webmail at home.bt.com her user/pass is accepted, we get thrown into a password reset process due to suspicious activity. We reset the password, its accepted and on next logon the whole process starts again

 

How do we fix it ? Ideally want to get access to the underlying so we can get some important mails from a few years back. Its ever so slightly complicated by the fact her father is the primary account holder

Turns out this happens if the account has been disabled automatically, rather than anything remotely useful as a warning message. Needs a chat session or actions on the 'parent' account to resolve

If the email account has not been used or accessed in 150 days it will have been deleted and its contents are not recoverable.
