Email chains consolidated in my inbox

Any thoughts gratefully received...

Since recent changes it seems that emails in a chain form one sender get consolidated in my inbox. For example, an email received 9 May is only visible in my inbox in the chain from the same sender dated 10 May.

The acute problem here is that the attachment to the 9 May email is no longer available in the 10 May email.

I have looked in Settings for an option to 'see each email in a chain separately', or suchlike, which is what GMail offers. But I can't find anything.

As i say I'd be very grateful for a steer.

It's conversation view you are looking for in settings.

Log onto your email account using a web browser and go to "View" at the right hand side and single click Conversation view. A single click toggles it off and on.
