I recently made a purchase online and added an email address for tracking my order, from a drop down box. I used an address I had not accessed for a long time.
I needed to reset my password on the by account, no access to the number I had, no access to the recovery email...I used a secret question answer... Reset my password, had it confirmed reset and that I should now be able to login...now it says I must setup secondary authentication but does not accept the new password to login gin to do this.
I still can't login and it takes me back to a page saying too many login attempts, reset password and goes through the whole process again...with the same result.
Any help please?
It may be that if the email address has not been used for a long time that the email account has been deleted.
Are you a BT Broadband customer or paying for the email account through a BT Premium email account?
Is your email account associated to a current BT Broadband account?
Can you log onto your MyBT and go to "Your Products" then "Email,manage". Once there do you see the email account?
