Re: Email

Go to solution

Good morning everyone,

Thank you for your patience while we worked on this.  I am very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

As some of you have confirmed this issue has now been resolved.  We received confirmation late last night from our email team to confirm that the fix they had put in place was completed successfully 😀

Cheers

Sean

Re: Email

This obviously doesn't apply to the problem trying to save files when a box now comes up on the left hand side instead of the right and trying to get the cursor in the right place and move to a file is virtually impossible as they jump all over the place. Obviously a left handed engineer doing it for his benefit and not for right handers. Or of course could be BT as ever making things as difficult as possible for their customers.

Hi SeanD

Many thanks for fixing this problem much appreciated. Don't suppose you could fix the mouse hover problem please. It was always reassuring to hover over the sender to make sure the email was genuine.

Kind Regards

Will

As was pointed out your previous post about that:-

If you want to see the originating email address you can set your page to have a preview pane by selecting one in the "change view" drop down box. This will show you the originating email address in the preview pane.

Or if you want you can use the "No preview" view, in your email list you tick the box on the left hand side of your chosen email you them go to the "More" button in the menu bar and select "view source". This will give you more information than you no doubt want but it does show the full information including originating email address and about its journey to your inbox.

Re: Email

Sill can't see why BT changed something that worked very well and gave me confidence the email was genuine and it work with gmail and others. Concerned the preview pane system is opening the email and therefore not safe. Will have to resort to the drawn out drop box method (or move mail providers). Thanks anyway.

Have a read through this link regarding using the Preview Pane. It might also be worth you doing an Internet search about using it.

Re: Email

Don't know what this 'fix' was about but have you read all the other complaints about the not-so improved email

When will it all be fixed so we can use BT email as before?
