My problem is logging into BT Email. I can see my emails from my PC using Thinderbird and also from my Android mobile. I can also read them using the BT Email app on my phone. I just cannot log into BT Email from my online BT account. It used to work ok.

NO I can't. It tells me my ID or Password are invalid but they aren't. They used to work ok.

Have you tried clearing your browser's history and cookies?

Re: Email

Hi

Yes I have tried that. It is weird because when I am logged onto My BT as 'me' I can see all account details, my products, etc. But if I select Email, the logon is pre populated with my wife's login but when I change it to 'me' I get the error.

The last time I used the Email menu option (several months ago) was to check something in my wife's emails so I logged using her username and password. Since then it will not let me log on to Email using my username and password but I can read my emails ok from Thunderbird on my pc and from my phone so I know the username and password are ok!?

Re: Email

This would appear to be a browser problem and not a BT problem.

You should check your browsers "saved passwords" list and seek out the BT one's. You will probably find that your wife's logon details are saved there.

Once selected you just need to delete it from the list. It will no longer offer it when you try to log on.

You should also check for your log on details and check that it has the correct details stored. If the are not correct just delete it.

Even if they are there and correct it might be worth deleting them and when you next log on and you enter the correct details and you should then be offered the option to save them again in your browsers saved password list.

Re: Email

Sorry for the delay. Solved the problem by changing my BT password and creating a new one and so I can now see my emails.
Thanks for your help.
