They are lost from client & web mail. I have checked other folders.
I feel they suddenly 'departed' whilst I was using the inbox (selecting/reading/editing) - but am unsure.
Me too!!
All inbox emails from26/2/20 to Monday 31 January 2022 have disappeared from all my devices (desktop, Iphone and laptop).
Checked spam folder and bin and junk.
Nothing for this period is there.
Emails for this period that I have stored in folders are still there.
This has happened to me previously when almost a whole years of emails disappeared.
Scanning through past postings to see if any one else is having the same problems with inbox emails. Found this posting, repeated below.
Exactly the same issue that I am having.
Anyone know the solution and what can be done (if anything) to prevent it happening again ?
Hi,
For years, she's been accessing her email in two ways:
1- Mail app on iphone (preferred method)
2- Web browser (usually Chrome) by accessing email.bt.com
The historical inbox emails aren't showing in either (app or browser).
Her deleted folder only shows a handful of emails (since yesterday really when the issue was noticed).
The content of her sent folder is intact (all historical emails are there).
The content of all her subfolders is intact (all historical emails are also there).
There are several threads relating to the issues of lost emails.
In my case, as the disappearance seemed to happened whilst I was using the inbox I'd already made all the checks suggested in other cases.... and
Some folks with the same problem seem to have technical support from BT
The following is an example. It was posted in January 2021
Hi and thanks yes checked bt server and now a bt level 2 team should have them back in 48 hours, fingers crossed.
