My wife uses the Gmail web page to manage all her email addresses, both gmail and btinternet. Her btinternet addresses are set up as additional emails so that she can send and receive from and to those addresses using the Gmail web page. However, emails sent this way from her btinternet addresses are no longer arriving at their destination. Nothing in the set up has changed, and until a few days ago all was working well. She gets no error messages back.
I use the same set up for my own gmail and btinternet addresses. All is still working well for me.
Her btinternet address is set up to be sent via mail.btinternet.com on port 465 using SSL.
She can still send using BT webmail but wants to manage all her emails from one place - hence using Gmail. Incoming emails are still being imported to Gmail (using POP) without a problem.
Can anyone suggest what has gone wrong?
Is the email account she is using part of your/her BT Broadband package or is it a BT Premium email account?
