Emails

I am unable to login to my email account it says 'unable to verify account name or password".  Any suggstions please?

Hi @Pwing, welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. I'm sorry that you're having a problem accessing your email account. 

Are you manually typing in your email address and password or are these stored on the device and prefilled? 
Have you tried a different internet browser or cleared your cookies and cache?

Yes I have but it still says the same.  I can access m account via bt.com but not via the Mail icon

Are you a BT Broadband customer or paying for your email through a BT Premium email account?

If you can access your email account via a web browser , webmail, there is nothing wrong with the account so do not change the password, at least at this stage.

It may be a problem with the BT server or your Mail client/app that you use.

I would suggest that you do nothing except wait for a couple off days to see if it resolves it self. If it doesn't start working after a couple of days post back mean time just use webmail.
