Got this error message when trying to send a message. It was to a single contact that is in my contact book who I have emailed for a decade. Can anyone explain it? (None of the stated 'conditions' applied) What are 'policy' reasons, are BT entering the censorship arena?
mmm... so, no one knows then, that's comforting LOL 😂
Were there any attachments?
LOL, yes indeedy, there is an attachment showing the error message. If the forum hasn't shown it, that would explain the lack of answers! I have hopefully repeated the error message (again) below...
I rather think @Les-Gibson meant were there any attachments in the problematic email. 😃
Now, that makes sense LOL Nope, no attachments whatsoever, just a plain text email...
In reply to your subject title :-

🤣🤣🤣
Just got the same error message saying I had breached policy. This time, I did include a common swear word. Message didn't send, I deleted swear word, email sent instantly.
Now, where does BT get off censoring what I put in my emails???
This opens all sorts of 'freedom of speech' issues! Also, what is BT doing monitoring MY emails for?
I am so angry at this issue, who do I contact in BT's senior management to advise them that in the UK, they are not allowed to do this, or have they inadvertently bought some Chinese software that monitors the contents of all our messages?
Did you try re-inserting the word to see if it subsequently sent, I rather suspect it would and it was just the normal BT flakiness.
