Second morning running I have found the Forward email option switched on showing an unknown gmail account. I switched it off yesterday but it is back on this morning. How is this happening and what can I do to stop it? Also does anybody know if the 'Forward' option only covers email traffic when it is switched on (in other words my email history is secure). Perhaps your account has been compromised?
It may be that your email account has been hacked and the forwarding is being set up by the hacker. You should change the password of the account.
If that doesn't stop it you should do as already suggested.
