How Can I Force ALL Messages to Go Into My Inbox?

Go to solution

Hello:

I want to filter all of my messages for SPAM myself as sometimes software gets it wrong! Therefore I want to route all of my messages directly to my InBox and I don't want BT to do ANY SPAM Filtering! How do I do this? Several years ago there was an option one could choose but I can't find that option now!

If you are still on BTYahoo mail, you need to select the basic option in settings first then you can make the setting in POP and forwarding.

For BTMail, go to Settings > Mail > spam settings for POP users

If you are on BTMail log onto webmail then go to settings > mail > spam settings for pop users > tick the option you want.

That did the trick - with any luck, now I won't miss any important e-mails that software thinks is SPAM!!

Many thanks.

Doesn't work. I have that option selected but the spam filtering is still randomly moving some (but not all) Freecycle emails to Spam.

As a workaround, you could configure Outlook as IMAP rather than POP3 and then the mail would be delivered to the spam folder in Outlook. I agree that you shouldn't have to do that, but don't hold your breath waiting for BT to fix their mail systems.
