It may have been too long. Try something shorter.
CALL WAITING message in sender box of bus a/c email inbox
Opened to message from xxx stating time and duration of missed call and box to press to "Play Message". Opens o familiar waving coloured dots with BT logo background. On requesting securing entry details no message. Ditto with personal a/c details. Send to phishing@bt.com and deleted.
Attempts to initiate 2 factor authentication and password change failed although seemingly correct (2x). Helpful suggestions please!

Have just tried again to change my password for main BT ID email account which worked
Also now successfully set up 2 factor authentication within MY BT profile.
Still need to find out how to change password for my auxillary (business/trading) account. Can't see where to do that atm.
The xxxx which appeared on hovering over the CALL WAITING sender with cursor is a fake?
Any other suggestions to protect myself going forward please?

Please edit out your email addresses, as this is a public forum.

Using a residential BT Internet email account for business usage is inadvisable as its not very secure, and is also not permitted on a residential account. If it gets hacked, then it could put your business in jeopardy.
BT Business use Office365 with btconnect email addresses.
As for resetting the password, all you can do is to ring BT to see if they can help.
No, they would be different.
