Inbox emails disappeared

All my email history in my inbox from before yesterday evening I’ve disappeared on my iPhone, my wife’s iPhone and at source on BT mail. My wife recently upgraded her phone. I did the same thing a couple of months ago but have had no issues. Would appreciate your help.

Hi @Neilb2, welcome to the forum, and sorry you've lost all the emails from your inbox.

As the emails are not available when you log in via webmail we won't be able to recover these. Have you checked the email settings on both of the iPhones? Are emails still getting deleted from your inbox?

No. They are now coming through but all history gone .

what settings to check ?

they all look like they should &  have been like that always (IMAP etc)
