Incoming mail goes straight to Trash

I've had a number of emails from known senders going straight to Trash unread, bypassing the Inbox. Can anyone help resolve this please>

Am I the only person to have this happen?

Re: Incoming mail goes straight to Trash

Hi @pwalker3 and thanks for posting.

I'm sorry to hear your emails are going straight to your trash. Have you changed any setting recently? Is your auto forward set to on?

Cheers

Re: Incoming mail goes straight to Trash

I have not changed any settings, it just suddenly started happening. I use Apple mail to access my BT account. Mails are going straight to the bin even when the sender is in my Apple Contacts.

Re: Incoming mail goes straight to Trash

Thanks for getting back @pwalker3. Are you able to check if you're having the same problem via webmail?

Cheers

Re: Incoming mail goes straight to Trash

Yes I do have the same issue with webmail, although the sender was not in my webmail Contacts. I have now added them to see if I now receive them to my Inbox, and not straight into Trash.

Re: Incoming mail goes straight to Trash

Is there a quick way to copy all my Apple contacts to my BT webmail?

Re: Incoming mail goes straight to Trash

On your Apple device, export the contacts to a file and then log onto your BTMail and click on "Contacts" then click on the "More" menu button and "Import" the contacts from your saved Apple file into the BTMail contacts.
