Hi
Received an email today from the following address:
BTcomms <update18588356@updateinfor.com>
Reported as possible "phishing" and haven't clicked on any any links. The "Login to My BT" link is:
My BT
https://btupdate.newupdate58.com/?em=xxx,xx@btopenworld.com&key=539
The "X"'s I've added, to replace my actual email address.
Fake or real??
Many thanks

Hi @aliballibee,
Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting. Going by the details you've posted it does look like that email is fake.
If you're worried about an email that appears to be from BT, rather than clicking on any links you should type www.bt.com/mybt in your browser to log in to your My BT account.
If you take a look at Spotting a Phising Email
Thanks

Hi, welcome to the forums.
100% fake.
The From email address is not a BT one, the website is nothing to do with BT - and almost certainly a phish email
Thanks all.
I had already sent it to the BT "phishing" email address.
Many thanks
