Login / Sync / Server issues with email

Unable to access ... @btinternet.com email account.   Last  sync 14 hours ago.

Win10 Mail App error message says update password but does nothing.

Bt.com says 'Your BT Mail address no longer exists'!

iPhone says account error and that 'the server mail.btinternet.com is not responding'.

This is my primary email account that I use multiple times times daily and is essential for me.  

Would very much appreciate any advice.  TIA

For the moment, leaving aside accessing your email using the W10 Mail app and your iPhone.

What happens when you try to log in using this link

BT Email 

If it doesn't work, try clearing your browser's full history and cookies, re-start the browser and try again.

If that does not work, which browser are you using and have you tried a different one?

Have a read through this link and see if you can re-activate your email account.

also try a different browser.

The account has been active for about 20 years is used multiple times per day.  It has remained logged in for nearly a year on the platforms used (PC and iPhone)

I have no doubt that you have been using it.

You have said when you try to log on you are getting a message that your account is no longer exists.

I asked you to read through the link so that you could check if it is still there and to see if you can re-activated it as per the message in the link:-

How to reactivate your BT email address

If you're the BT ID account holder, you can reactive your deleted email address by following these steps:

  1. Log in to My BT with your BTID >
  2. If you have more than one BT account, select the right account in the top right corner of the page
  3. Click on Package and then Included extras

Are you a BT Broadband customer?

I have not been a BT broadband customer for about 15 years but was permitted to keep the account after discussing with BT because the original email set up was with BT Yahoo
