Lost and missing emails from inbox

Can the resident MOD look into my problem as many of my emails have disappeared and only go back as far 12/04/2023. I have tried the chat support but am going round in circles with no resolution.

Please advise how this can be resolved

inbox and sent box? have you tried accessing with app and also web mail?

are you a broadband customer or on premium email?

How do you normally access your email account, is it via webmail (using a web browser) or do you use an email client/app?

Which type of device(s) do you access your email account on and do you access your email account on more than one device?

If you use more than one device have you checked all your devices to see if the emails are in any of the other folders that you may have? 

If the emails are not on webmail then it means they have been deleted from the BT servers and can not be recovered and all that can be done is to try and ascertain which device caused the issue.

Yes, have tried with the app and the web mail, both show the same amount of emails, all other folders have disappeared.
