From around 1 pm today I have had big e-mail problems. First, someone trying to send me an e-mail said they got a message that it was 'undeliverable'.
I then tried to send (compose) an e-mail, and as soon as I tried to put the recipient's name into 'To', I got an error message and couldn't proceed!
So it seems I can't receive or send e-mails!
Please could someone here help? Or at least tell me how to contact BT E-mail technical support?

Yes, that nightmare happened about a week ago. Lots of my contacts had disappeared. I've got over that one. Today's problem is new hell and even worse of course.

Since the update I have lost all contacts on my Laptop, though there has been no change to my phone.

I am just posting as all my contacts have gone in the new email platform. When I click on the contacts tab I am getting the error message 'an error occured when loading the auto-complete list. Please try again later'. I cannot compose an email either and it just says 'an unexpected error has occured'.
Please could someone contact me to resolve this.

BT Mail has suddenly decided to prevent me from entering an email address in the "To" line when trying to compose mail. It immediately comes upon with "Unexpected Error" messages.
