Lost sent box in emails

Anyone else experiencing problems with sent emails not appearing in their sent box? Spent an hour on a live chat and he/she couldn't fix it. I filled a complaint in and a woman rang but was also unable to help, so she escalated it and the result - an email to say my case is closed!

What next?

How are you accessing your emails. Is it on a computer using a web browser and logging onto your email account or is it on a device such as a mobile phone using an email client/app or is it a combination of both?

Hi, both my computer and android mobile phone but not via the app, I don't have that installed.

Just type bt.com in the bit at the top of the screen and I'm in

It sounds like you are using a browser.

Does the problem happen if you send using computer and phone or is it only happening when you send regardless of which device you use.

Can you log on using this link

BTMail 

and sent an email from your computer only and then check to see if your sent email is there. Do not check to see if it's there on your phone.

Once you have checked, do the same thing using your phone, not checking on the computer and report back.

It doesn't work on either my computer or my phone.

As an added complication, I've been sending test emails to myself and although they don't appear in my sent box straight away, if I keep sending them, they do eventually arrive in my sent box, but about a month later!

Log onto your email account using your computer. Click on your username at the top right hand side then click on "Settings".

When the settings open click on "Mail" in the left hand column and check that the "Save sent messages" is ticked. If it is not ticked. tick it and click on "Save".

I've done that several times myself, then again when I was guided through by the live chat person, and then several more times since.

Still no joy!
