I need to find some emails from 2016/15 in my btyahoo account & it will only show back til 2017. So have they disappeared forever or is there some magiv way of finding them in cyberspace?  Any clues much appreciated .. thanks!

Assuming you have checked your trash folder, if they are not showing in your BTYahoo email account they are gone forever.
