Multiple failed to login message using Clean Email

I have a lot of emails in my account and have been trying to clean them using Clean Email. In the past I have had problems with this as it would not work with BT at all but suddenly it has logged me in and managed to download all my messages for cleaning. However now when trying to take bulk actions like trying to move 1000 messages to trash or I need delete them I keep getting asked to login again and now seem to have been locked out entirely due to to many login attempts.

Is there a solution to this?

Re: Multiple failed to login message using Clean Email

I think you would need to contact Clean Email as this is not something that BT would be able to do anything about as its not a BT app

Re: Multiple failed to login message using Clean Email

I think 50% of Trustpilot reviews as 1* says it all.

It just seems like a solution looking for a problem from where I'm sitting.

Re: Multiple failed to login message using Clean Email

I am aware it is not a BT app and am have reported separately to them, however it is not clear where the failure is occurring as there have been problems in the past with BT mail when attempting bulk transactions.

Re: Multiple failed to login message using Clean Email

On the face of it the solution is pretty good and includes features for cleaning up mail, filtering mail which should be part of many mail client solutions, Apple mail, Outlook, etc. but which aren't. It would certainly be a solution to my problem if it would just work reliably.

Re: Multiple failed to login message using Clean Email

The fact it is not a BT app is irrelevant as when talking to the developers of the app it is BT that is throwing them out and then locks them out as if their app was malware. To make it worse BT "support" use the same mantra, not our app not our problem. Asking if there was a more technical team that could look at blacklists or logs apparently BT do not have any administrators or people technical enough to administer their servers.
