I have tried to log into my BT email account recently, and received a message saying my address no longer exists.
My account was created for me by my mother, who is a BT Broadband customer.
I am not sure when I last logged in - it may have been some time ago.
Ideally, I would like someone from BT to check exactly what has happened to my email address, and see if anything can be done to restore it.
It seems from reading the posts here that the best people to find out may be the moderators of these boards. Also, it appears they sometimes invite people posting about email problems to contact them. Please could a moderator help me in this way?

If you have not used the email address recently as if it has not been used it may have been deleted.

Thank you for your reply. I have looked at the page you gave. What I am really wanting is to be able to check my account status with BT. A phone call did not help. Comments on these boards suggest that the board moderators are more useful than the helpline or live chat - can one contact them directly?
If you haven't used the email within the last 90 days it will have been put into a deleted state. You would have had a further 60 days to reactivate the account. If it is past that stage then your email address will have been deleted with no option to restore it.
I can check to see if that is the case for you. I'm going to need the email address and the account number that it belonged to.
