Name Change

Hello

I would like to change my user name on my email accoutn so my sender name shows my married name not my maiden name. This is an openworld account.

You can't 'change' an email address it is unique, you can create a new email address with your married name.

Hello. Thank you for replying but I’ve had my email address for over 20 years and I don’t want to change this, I just want the sender details to say who the email is from as in my current name, not my maiden name. Can I change my user name?

Ok, if you go to 'Settings' by clicking your email address in the top right corner of the email screen, then click on 'Mail' in the left hand pane and then click on 'Profile'. You can then edit your profile name.Click on 'Save' to save the changes.

You might have to log out of mail and then log in again for it to take effect.
