Hi, yes I did. Been in communication with the Mods on several occassions. Finally got put through to the team in India.

All I can say is that the following info is incorrect with regards to my account:

http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/13394/kw/How%20do%20I%20change%20or%20reset%20my%20pe...

I can no longer access the 'security information page' described in the above link, and was given no acceptable resolution by the 'support team.'

Thanks.

Hi again.

Forget my last post, I believe you need to go to the change password screen first and alter the password :-

https://register.btinternet.com/cgi-bin/chpasswdsso

after altering password, the next screen takes you to the security change/enter page.

Re: Need to Change Security Question for BT Yahoo Email

@Andy_N

Hi Andy

I am actually re-directed to a different 'change password' page than the one you mention from within my account, and when I change my password it doesn't give me any opportunity to view or modify security details.

Thanks.

Hi again.

Ignore the change password page from within your account, use the link I posted directly.

(Otherwise log out of email and login using :-

https://signin1.bt.com/login/emailloginform

then use the link I posted)

Re: Need to Change Security Question for BT Yahoo Email

Hi Andy

Thanks for the idea. It quite possibly is the solution. However I am wary of trying to modify my account details using a page that I'm not redirected to from within my account.

I'm going to wait and see what BT have to say, as to why I can no longer view or modify my own account security details using the page BT redirects me to.

Cheers.

I completely understand.

However the URL for the change password page I've given is a btinternet page that's been around for many years. Also you will notice it is the same as on the help page :-

http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/13394/~/how-do-i-change-or-reset-my-personal-security...

(Of course, that's for BTYahoo. I'm not sure about BTMail if that's your access).

Re: Need to Change Security Question for BT Yahoo Email

Hi @NeilO. On the 17th of November you replied:

' sorry about that, I can see @RobbieMac is looking after this for you and he has set a follow up to get back to you tomorrow as he's in the office over the weekend.'

Nobody from BT support has called me. I've checked my phone logs, and the last time anyone from BT tried to call me was on the 10th of November, since then I've heard nothing, and the matter is still unresolved.
