New BT email - contacts groups

I have the new BT email, freshly arrived this week.

I use groups for sending emails; there is an option to add someone to a group, but not to remove them.  I do not wish to delete the contact altogether, but just to removed them from certain groups.

Any ideas anyone?

When you are in the group and it gives the option to delete the contact  all it is doing is deleting the contact in the group not from your main contacts.

Well I'll give that a go ... in Yahoo! days it deleted the contact entirely. Thanks for your prompt response.
