Not receiving emails with attachments

I have been sent emails that i've never known about and the commonality is attachments - anyone know how to sort the problem?

Can you confirm that you can receive emails from the senders if they do not include attachments?

Have you checked that your Antivirus Program is not blocking them because of the attachments?

Yes it's fine without attachments. I'm not sure what i can see from the virus software - what would I check?

It will depend on which AV product you are using as to how or if it is being blocked by your AV.

There will be a setting in the AV  settings that is either blocking links or attachments. This will most likely be in the email section settings or in the web/internet section.

Just thinking on this - I couldn't see when i access by smartphone or alternate laptop so it can't be the laptop protection stopping it - any other thoughts?
