I get regular emails from a site I have subscribed to which consist of several links to articles I might be interested in. Until a few days ago, when I clicked on a link it automatically opened in a new tab. When I closed that tab, my computer went back to the list of links -- easy, simple. A few days ago the links started to open on the email tab. If I closed it I would have to re-open my email page. If I remember not to do that but use the arrow to go back to the previous page, i.e. my email page, it has to re-open my email page, which can take quite a while -- not minutes, but many seconds. I know if I remember to right-click on the link, I can tell 'it' to 'Open Link in New Tab', but remembering is not my strong suit. How can I get it back to opening in a new tab automatically? Is it something to do with BT or is it something to do with the website that sends the list of links?
Thanks

Whatever happened to 'read before posting etiquette'? https://community.bt.com/t5/Email/Links-in-emails-not-opening-in-new-browser-tabs/td-p/2245127
I see I'm not the only one to have found this problem. [I never try to see if my question has been asked before as it usually hasn't, and I'm afraid that I won't use the right keywords, so wasting time.] One of the solutions was to click on the centre wheel. I tried that and it worked. I never knew that the scroll wheel could be clicked! But it will take a while to get used to doing that automatically. Some people (answering the earlier question) said it was a BT thing, others said it was a browser thing -- swiftly denied by others. Whatever the cause, is there any way I can go into settings and get it back as it used to be?
