I have been using outlook on by microsoft laptop for 5 years. It has just started asking for password and then rejecting it.
I can still access emails with same password on apple mail (laptop and iphone) and using webmail.
The last email I received as 2:06am on Monday 8th Feb but none since.
I have BT mail (not yahoo) and outlook 365 version 2101. Outlook still works with my exchange account.

I use outlook with my BT mail (always have) and occasionally it doesn't log on but always works eventually
It might be worth deleting the profile (after recording info) and setting up a new POP3/IMAP profile from scratch. I bed something has changed.
incomming - mail.btinternet.com port 993 SSL/TLS - no SPA
outgoing mail.btinternet.com port 465 SSL/TLS using incomming password - no SPA
I do not want to reloading the profile the accounts. This always results in informtion being lost and creating more work.
The same BT email accounts are working on iphone and mac (both outlook and apple mail) without any changes.
I checked the account settings against your settings below, the settings on other systems above.
It went from working to not working in the space of a few hours.

Outlook gives me this error
Task email@example.com – Receiving reported error Ox800CCC92: Your email server rejected your login. Verify your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings. The server responded – ERR Access denied.
when I press send and receive. I have checked all settings and they match other systems. I can login to BT webmail using same password.
Does anyone know what these errors mean and how to fix it.
I have posted my problem is this email forum. The answers don't work so I need to escalate the issue.

I had been using NordVPN with a UK host. Once I turned the VPN off the email went back to working.

Spent a few hours going through all the various solutions (all failed).
Soon as I saw the VPN solution - knew my Norton VPN, yep the culprit.
Switched off - bingo email coming in from serving.
