I have outlook on my android phone on which I have two accounts one @SKY.com which works fine and all folders sync ok the other is my @btinternet.com in which the folders appear but no emails are in them
I have the latest version of Outlook
As you can see the folders are there

Have you checked that all the folders and contents are there when you log onto your account using webmail?
Have you checked that you have set up the email account as an IMAP account in Outlook?
Have you checked that you are using the correct settings in Outlook as per this link?
Assuming that you have set it up correctly and all the emails are on webmail have you waited long enough for the BT email account fully synchronise with Outlook. Depending on how many emails you have this can take a considerable time the first time.
I Use Outlook on my Laptop and they are all there
I have setup the account using the advance option and instructions from BT web site
I have waited 2 days and still no update I receive main into the inbox
