Re: POP 3 NOT IMAP

Go to solution

The iPhone/iPad will now force the set up of IMAP if your ISP supports it. To over ride this you need to delete the account you have already tried to set up and then re-start the device.

Once it has re-started try to set it up again but this time you should enter a fake/ incorrect email address such as J.blogs@donotsetup.com and it will try to validate and then fail and it should give you the option to set it up manually which will allow you to select POP.

Once you have selected POP you need to go through the settings and enter the correct ones.
