Password not recognised even though I know it’s correct?!
I have a BT yahoo email address that I’ve had for many years.
At Xmas I changed my password (which I do every so often for security) and like always, I entered the new one on my phone to keep my email app up and running.
It’s successfully retrieving mail but weirdly my password (which I know is correct) is not accepted via my email client on my desktop PC nor in my browser when I try to access it that way.
Attempts to re set it via entering security details also fail as it says the details aren’t recognised even though I know they’re right.
Could someone pls advise what has happened and what I need to do to resolve this?
My password is clearly correct as my phone email app accesses just fine. I’d obviously like to access it other ways though and am concerned if I were to lose my phone, I have no other way to retrieve emails.
