Phishing / Scam email

Go to solution

I've received a mail this morning from BTSupport® <noreply@osv.com> entitled "Important Information".

The mail has 2 HTML attachments.

I haven't opened either of the attachments.

Does anyone know if this is a legitimate email or phishing/scam?

Its fake - if you look at the actual sending domain (after the @ sign) its osv.com and not anything to do with BT.

Forward the email to phishing@bt.com

Anytime you are unsure, its worth taking the extra time to check on a forum or call the company directly whether its real.
