Phishing email

Go to solution

Hi

Today I would seem to have received a scam/phishing email telling me my email address will go out of use on 23rd Jan unless I add it to my account.  It then invites we to click on a link so I can add it.

The sender address is, of course, suspect: -

********@btinternet.com

as is the spoof site

Hi @ffmitchell, thanks for posting. Could you forward that email over to our dedicated mailbox phishing@bt.com and delete the email.

I've removed the scam link to prevent anyone on the community from accidentally visiting it and I've also edited out the email address as it likely belongs to a genuine customer but has been compromised by spammers.
