Here's another strange BT email warning whilst trying to send a picture inside the body of the email:
"The message cannot be saved because the body exceeds 300KB characters"
The picture will only send as an attachment
Sent using others clients successfully. It was received into BT mail as a picture inside the email body.
The message is telling you what the problem is. The picture must be too big and is exceeding the size that can be embedded into the email. You will need to make it smaller or just send it as an attachment.
Thanks, but I had already said that. I was only reporting it as a snag as, let's be honest, 500kB is small! Other clients can handle it and the new improved BT MAIL should be able to too!!! Just saying, but appreciate your reply.
It is not a snag. It has been designed that way. BT are looking at possibly increasing the size that can be embedded but meantime if you want to send larger you will need to use the attachment facility or as you have already found out, an email client.

"New issues we are looking at
There seems to be a problem embedding any file into an email in the new system, it's not long ago that someone used this forum to seek advice after trying unsuccessfully to embed a word document
