Plusnet question and keeping my BT email address

Hi

Does anyone know , if I cancel my BT broadband contract and go to Plusnet, can I keep my BT email addresses, questioning this since Plusnet is owned by BT and looking at the Plusnet website, Plusnet BB routers look very similar to the BT routers.

You can keep your email address regardless of provider.

You either have to have premium mail at £7.50/m which allows access via mail clients and mail apps or Basic mail which is free but is only accessible via webmail.

Moving to Plusnet doesn't change that.
