Problem with accessing email from device using POP3/SMTP
I have a btinternet email address which I can access via the web on my PC without any problem. However over the last two weeks or so my ability to access via POP3 with MS Outlook on my PC and the app on my Android phone has been a problem. There have been times where over a period of hours this access has not been available. On both systems each time I try and log in it keeps asking for the password. Then after a few hours it comes back on without any input from me. Looking into it a bit deeper on my phone I get a message which says, "POP3/IMAP isn't turned on for the account" and asks me to check with the server which is set to Mail.BTinternet.com. I have spoken to BT Help but they have been unable to find a fault or set a solution. Thanks.
