Re: Query: maintaining email address when moving abroad

Welcome to this user forum.

I expect you would have to pay £5 a month for BT Premium mail, its on this link.

Leaving BT? You will need to sign up to Premium Mail if you want to keep your e-mail address.

Re: Query: maintaining email address when moving abroad

BT email Terms and Conditions state that the email account is not meant to be used if you are moving abroad permanently however if it is not a permanent move and you are wishing to keep your email account, without being a BT broadband customer you could take out a subscription to BT Premium email.

See Terms & Conditions 7a(1)

Re: Query: maintaining email address when moving abroad

Nothing will change, Premium mail is just a marketing term for the mail service when you don't have a BT broadband account.

Take out a BT Premium email subscription for a couple of months during which you get your self a gmail account. Once you have that set up you email all your contacts your new email address and advise banks etc of your new gmail address.

Once that has been done and you are happy that every person/company that needs to know your new gmail email address has been informed you stop your BT Premium email subscription.

Re: How to change "from" address in Outlook.

If you have a BT Connect email address it would appear that you are a BT Business customer. If that is the case you should post on the business forum where you should get some help.
