I've experienced same problem. All emails from any gmail account, including my own, appear briefly in my BT inbox both on line email and in windows live mail download, but then disappear and I'm unable to find or access them anywhere.
I've unblocked by deleting all = hundreds from my blocked senders list (bit annoying as I'm now expecting to receive a significant increase in spam) and added both gmail.com and *.gmail.com to my safe senders list but the problem remains.
Does anyone have any other fixes to suggest?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I've moved your post to start a new thread as it is a different problem to the thread you posted on which was solved in any case.
If your mails appear briefly and then disappear, it would point to another device configured as POP3 downloading the mails and deleting them from the server.
Only thing I can say is you need to double check not just senders but domains.
They aren;t goupled or indexed in your blocked list, so it is a matter of elimination one by one.
My first attempt was unsuccessful, but I got it second time around.
FOr example the gmail.com domain was blocked because one of the spammers was on g mail. Therefore, my pals on gmail and my own gmail account which I transfer phone pics from wouldn't work.
Hope that helps.

Spammers hardly every use the same email address, because they know that people use blocking systems. So you won't actually receive any increase in spam - just the general increase or usual amount.
They might use the same domain though.
A lot of them are using well established ones like Tesco. Think on that.
OK & Maybe then. I'm no techie, typical end user. Any guidance on how I can best investigate this potential issue is welcome?
Do you have multiple devices collecting mail, if so check all them are not configured as POP3.
