I am receiving the same message on my mobile phone, however I am receiving emails without problem.

I haven't chaged my password or any other details.

Can anybody suggest how I can stop constantly receiving this message.

I am getting the same issue on Outlook on my PC and my phone.

The issue only applies to one account  - the other email addresses are fine.

Accessing webmail is fine.

Hi.

As usual, do nothing. No password changes, no account remove/re-add in the app/client, no app/client reinstall. This usually clears itself from a few hours to a few days. However, turn off all devices from auto-checking for emails, and check one device once an hours or so.

I assume your account is BTYahoo (there will be a Yahoo image top left in webmail).

If it has happened for no apparent reason the best thing to do is nothing. Do not change any email passwords or delete your account and try setting it up again. The problem usually resolves its self in a day or two.

The only thing to check is that you are using the BT servers and not the Yahoo ones.

Yes it is Yahoo.

It has frequently done this before and resolved fairly quickly - never had the issue last more than a few hours,, but it has been all day today

I've had the same problem today. I am sitting back waiting for it to clear itself as per normal practice

In the meantime I'm accessing my emails via the the WebMail.

In my case, the emails are now being received again by my email client.  This was after about a 12 hour break of not receiving emails even though they were being received in my Web mail.

This is an intermittent problem which always corrects itself  but sometimes only after a couple of days.

I am also having issues today through Outlook on laptop and also on iphoneX.  Neither seem to recognise the password.  Fine to access through webmail
